Instrument Rating

The instrument rated pilot has the freedom to fly when everyone else stays on the ground. This rating allows a pilot to fly by reference to instruments alone. 

Instrument Training completed during PPL and CPL training can be added towards the total times needed for the Instrument Rating. A maximum of 20 hours of simulator time may be used for the rating. 

SINGLE ENGINE (Group 3 - IR)

Costs (based on minimum requirements in a C-172):

MULTI ENGINE: (Group 1 - IR)

 Dual Flight Instruction on The Piper Seneca PA34 200T - $375.00 per hour 
Also includes all of the above as for single engine
