Recreational Pilot Permit

The Recreational Pilot Permit is based on a minimum of 25 hours of flight training of which 20 hours must be dual instruction and 5 hours must be solo. Students are required to complete 2 hours of dual cross country flying. Students are provided with the ground school at regular cost in preparation for the written test.

The number of hours to complete the course may vary depending on student abilities, time available for training and frequency of flights.
